Now get the filter assembly and cover the French press. You are about to steep the coffee—normally, it would take about 2-3 minutes in steeping your coffee. And once you are done, it is now time to plunge the filter. Hold the cover and the plunger stick well and then push the plunger stick down evenly. By doing an even manner, this prevents the coffee ground to go through the filter. Once you are done with the plunging of the coffee, get your cups and pour the coffee slowly so you won't create a mess.
